HISTORIC BAPTISM IN EIS

By: Evangeline Tan-Alvez

Tears of pure joy run through all parts of the worship hall during the EIS Sabbath Celebration on August 31, 2024, to rejoice for the public display of faith of two parents and two students who accepted Christ as their personal savior through baptism. In a historic feat for God, EIS came together to lift the name of God even higher with this milestone.

Parents of first graders Mrs. Prakaipetch Tungteerapattharakij and Mrs. Chiaranai Ratanaprakarn, along with siblings Methus Seksantisakul and Sirinapa Seksantisakul from High School and Middle School section respectively, fully embraced the teaching, standard, identity, and truth of the Seventh-day Adventist church in a monumental gathering attended by students, parents, faculty, staff, administrators, and friends.

“We are very happy about this achievement. It has been a while since EIS’s baptism, and we praise God for being so gracious to Ekamai International School. God has blessed our school so much, and we are thankful for that,” Ajarn Saowanee Kiatyanyong said during the worship service.

The now Adventist Christians Mrs. Prakaipetch, Mrs. Chiaranai Ratanaprakarn, Methus Seksantisakul,
and Sirinapa Seksantisakul underwent a series of Bible studies through the Chaplaincy department as a core and shared goal of the EIS community to bring souls to Christ.

“I felt renewed, forgiven, and a different person after the baptism,” conveyed Methus Seksantisakul.” can really feel God’s love today,” he added.
