EIS CELEBRATES 65TH ANNIVERSARY WITH THANKSGIVING WORSHIP AND SOCIAL NIGHT

This year marks the 65th anniversary of Ekamai International School. As part of the event, the Social Committee coordinated the 65th-anniversary thanksgiving celebration on November 25-26, 2022. The Milne auditorium was filled with teachers, staff, and visitors listening to the Words of Hope from Pastor Niratisai Aipan, TAM President, EIS Licensee, and Chairman of the Board.
Attendees wearing their international costumes came early morning to join the Prayer Garden praising and thanking the Lord for His love and presence. The most interesting part of the Sabbath School program was the Mission Spotlight, where a video was shown for everyone to see the school’s beginnings. The worshippers experienced words of praise and the study of the Word.
Pastor Somchai Chuenjit, Southeast Asia Union Mission President, was the Divine Worship Speaker. As part of the school’s batch 1978, he echoed how great our God is for His enormous blessings to EIS. Pine trees and farmlands surrounded only one building during his time, but our Heavenly Father transformed the area of how it looked this time. He concluded his message by praying that God will continually bless every stakeholder, including the facilities and the school’s future projects.
All attendees had their lunches at noon in the cafeteria and building nine ground floor. Right after the banquet, people moved to the covered court to listen to wonderful Christian music from the students, teachers, staff, and visitors. The Adventist youth musical concert ended with the closing remarks by Mr. Ian Cordero, Academic Principal, appreciating every effort of each individual involved from the planning of the activity until this moment.
As part of every Seventh-day Adventist family event, employees and their loved ones stayed by for the Social Night, where everybody appreciated the acquaintance, games, reflections, and food. Rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances; this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
