JEERA WINS TYPING COMPETITION

Eleven students from high school taking computer one classes heed the challenge to record the fastest typist with the highest accuracy on September 30, 2022, at the computer laboratory of the high school section.
Jeera Ariyaburoot from 9G emerged as the winner beating the top three typists in the final round through the edutainment touch typing website Nitro Type. Jeera recorded a 96.21 percent accuracy with 92 words per minute followed by Nagorn Ratnaphala with 91.94 percent accuracy at 88 words per minute, and completing the top three is Krisanaporn Olanackaraseyranee with 95.26 percent accuracy at 76 words per minute.
Participants hurdled the nerve-racking elimination round via Typing Club to get through the exciting final round where they raced with other qualifiers. Winners received cash prizes and certificates of excellence.
This competition is a peek into the Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) Day where a campus-wide competition is awaiting the fastest touch typist of Ekamai International School.
